Truly private chat — nothing to install, nothing stored

Ushla is a free, anonymous, end-to-end encrypted chat for two people. There is no registration, no phone number, no app to install. Your messages, files, and calls travel directly between your two browsers over an encrypted WebRTC connection — they never touch a server, so there is nothing to leak, subpoena, or hack. Close the tab and the conversation is gone forever.

How it works

  1. Open ushla.uz — you get a one-time pairing code and link.
  2. Send the link to one person, any way you like.
  3. When they open it, your browsers connect directly. Chat, share files, or start a voice or video call.

Features

  • End-to-end encrypted messaging — WebRTC's mandatory DTLS encryption, browser to browser.
  • Secure file sharing — send photos, videos, audio, and documents up to 10 MB peer-to-peer; images and media preview inline.
  • Encrypted voice & video calls — up to 1080p video and music-grade stereo audio, with mute, camera switch, and in-call chat.
  • No account, no sign-up — no email, no phone number, no profile.
  • No history — nothing is written to disk or any database, anywhere.
  • Safety number — both screens show the same short fingerprint, so you can verify no one is intercepting the connection.

Frequently asked questions

Is Ushla really private? Can the server read my messages?

No. The server only relays the initial WebRTC handshake so your two browsers can find each other. Messages, files, and calls flow directly between the peers, encrypted end-to-end. The server never sees, stores, or logs any content — and once you are connected it could be switched off without interrupting your chat.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Open the site, share the link, talk. There is no registration, no phone number, and no personal information involved.

Is chat history saved?

No. Nothing is stored anywhere — not on a server and not on disk. When either person closes the tab, the conversation ceases to exist.

How is this different from Telegram or WhatsApp?

Those apps route your messages through their servers and require a phone number. Ushla connects two browsers directly with no account at all: nothing to register, nothing retained, nothing tied to your identity.

Can I share files securely?

Yes — any file up to 10 MB is sent directly to your peer over the encrypted channel. It is never uploaded to a server, so there is no copy left behind.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Ushla runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — on phones, tablets, and computers. Nothing to install.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free.

Minimal by design. One page, one purpose — a private line between two people.
